2023 Provincial Award Winner

Our organization, and the people within it, are organized into three divisions:

  • Corporate Services
  • Integrated Social Services
  • Office of the Chief Executive Officer

Our interdisciplinary team includes staff experienced in: social assistance, child care and early years, property management, maintenance, asset management, research, data analysis, communications, information services, finance, human resources, and administration.

TBDSSAB has 8 office locations across the District of Thunder Bay. Our headquarters office is located in Thunder Bay.

Standard hours for full-time employees is 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.

TBDSSAB is a unionized environment, with many non-union positions.

For positions associated with a bargaining unit, priority consideration will be given to bargaining unit employees in accordance with the relevant collective agreement.
