As a designated facility under the French Language Services act our responsibility is to provide clients access to our programs and services in French. Our French Language Policy guides our recruitment strategy and selection criteria for certain positions.

In order to ensure access to French Language Services, The District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board will designate key positions that require French Language skills. TBDSSAB will strive to maintain an adequate number of French-speaking employees per shift for those areas identified to provide French Language Services.
