The District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board (TBDSSAB) is the service system manager for Child Care, Social and Affordable Housing, and Ontario Works  for the District of Thunder Bay.

Since 1999, TBDSSAB has operated as one of 47 service managers in Ontario and is mandated by the Province to administer these services.

Our service District includes 15 municipalities which appoint  representatives to our Board of Directors through their municipal Councils.  As well, the Board of Directors includes an elected representative from the Territories without Municipal Organization.
