November Cheques Available for Pick-Up

October 30, 2025 – Due to the ongoing CUPW Rotating Strike and disruptions to Canada Post mail services, The District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board (TBDSSAB) is implementing cheque-pickup to ensure continuity of service until further notice.

All cheques issued for October to Thunder bay addresses will be available for pickup on October 30 & 31, 2025. This includes cheques issues to Ontario Works recipients and Landlord/Vendors. Cheques will be available starting October 30, and remain available until they are picked up.

Cheques for addresses outside of the city of Thunder Bay were sent via mail. Payment arranged through electronic means will remain unaffected. Please contact your caseworker to arrange pick-up of daily cheques. Questions can be directed to 807-766-2111.
