Situations
Situations in which telephone screening may be by-passed
- The applicant appears to be having difficulty understanding or responding to the questions being asked
- The applicant is hearing impaired
- The applicant's responses are difficult to understand
- The applicant indicates a high level of difficulty in responding to screening questions
- The applicant does not communicate in English
- The applicant is in a crisis or emergency situation (the applicant may be connected with 911)
