Appeals
Families who are denied fee subsidy as requested or who do not receive the current maximum benefit after making an application, have the right to appeal the decision.
Appeals must be made within twenty (20) working days of the receipt by the applicant of notice of eligibility or ineligibility. Applicants are required to submit their appeal in writing stating the reasons for the appeal along with any necessary supporting documentation. Submissions must be dated and signed by the Appellant(s).
Appeals will be reviewed by the Fee Subsidy Appeal Committee within twenty (20) working days of receipt.
The Fee Subsidy Appeal Committee will communicate its decision to the Appellant(s) by regular mail within five (5) working days of the review.
